Today was different then the others. Today Emily told herself that she was going to be in the best mood possible, end of story. Now, at one o'clock in the morning, Emily took her twelve string guitar out into the forest in order to start her extra good mood today. She walked into a clearing, her bare feet made light footprints in the soggy ground. Emily sighed and looked around. Where can I sit? She asked herself as she circled the small clearing at her natural pace, fast. A few feet away the was a large flat rock that she would've been able to stand on and jump around on.
Where the rock was wasn't that big of a problem for long. Em put her guitar to the side of the clearing and pushed the rock into the center. Now, it wasn't easy to move a rock of that size, but she did it anyway.
Emily grabbed the instrument and jumped on top of the rock, put the strap around herself and started playing. Eventually she started humming the words to 'Our Song' and soon after she was up on the rock singing to, well the trees. Emily was playing and jumping and basically giving the animals in the area a concert.

"Em?" he said a little shock "Wow you are really good," Emily spun around to face the voice, her straightened blonde hair swung and wrapped around her shoulder as she spun. She held the neck of her guitar with on hand and moved her hair away from her face with her other. "You sound surprised." She said with a smile. It was still dark out, but she could see just fine. It was Embry who she was talking to. She was glad it was him and not someone saying 'Oh you smell like a vampire. I think I'll kill you now.' Which there had been cases like that recently. Some girl chasing after Bella and what not. Crazy. "What are you doing up this late?" Emily asked as she took the strap off and set her guitar down and sat down. Her motions were quick, more natural then when she had to be around humans. This was why she liked how other knew what she was. It made things seem easier.

"It's a long story are you up for it?" he mused. It didn't feel as late as
it really was to him. He was seeing the world
though new lens tonight and he hadn't really ajusted.

Was all she could respond. Then he responded to her previous question. "It's a long story are you up for it?" Emily leaned her head back against the rock and curled her legs close to her chest. "Well I'm kind of tired," She said with a yawn. "But I'm sure I can stay awake for it." Her tone was joking. He knew as well as she that vampire's didn't sleep. "Shoot." She said, her body still like a statue, like before, it was more natural.

"You do have a lot of that don't you," Emily just nodded. Humans always wished for more time. She knew they did, she heard them in the halls at school. What they didn't realize was that more time meant that later on there would be nothing to do. All you would want to do is sleep, not just sit.
"Well I guess the is no easy way to say it but I impritned this morning," Emily's legs went down and crossed and she just looked at Embry with an obvious smile on her face. "Aw! No way! Now you have to tell me everything! Who is she? Does she live in Forks? Wait do I know her? What she like? Where did you meet? How do you even know if you imprinted? Oh my gosh this is so great. " By then she put her own hand over her mouth to stop her questions. She struggled to keep her voice slow enough to understand, but at the same time she was so happy for him. It was about time that happened.

She is everything that is good in life," Emily clapped her hands as softly as she could manage but her knees bounced as well. "Ah! Thats so cute!" She said stopping all of her movements at once. She was thinking back now to what he said her name was. Mitchie. Actually, Emily knew exactly who he was talking about. "So when are you going to tell her?" She asked, still excited. Then she thought about it. If Mitchie knew about Embry being well... part wolf, then wouldn't she figure out, or someone would tell her, that the Cullen's were vampires? Uh Oh.

"I'm just scared thatI'll scare her," Emily rolled her eyes but when she heard the sound of his heart rate go up she just looked at him questioningly. "Scare her? If you scare her, I'll pay money to see her reaction about us!" Em joked. She kind of took after her dad in that way. She wasn't serious very often, or for long periods of time. "But really, you won't scare her. If she wants you two to work out, she won't let it stop her."
